Motion Detector Mounting Tips

G.E. Motion Detector (60-807-95R)

Facts:

  • Placement- 6 ft to 7 1/2 ft (Recommended 6 ft); no further than 90 ft from panel
  • Range: Up to 35 ft out (Recommended 20-25 ft); 45 degrees down   
  • Supervisory signals transmitted every 64 minutes to the control panel
  • Do not aim the sensor at windows, fireplaces, air conditioners, area heaters, forced air heating vents, or in direct sunlight. 
  • 90 degree angle field of view
  • Alarm will be set off if customer has animals 40 lbs or more
  • To change sensitivity: (See Second Image Above)
    • 1. Locate sensitivity pins by removing the mounting plate and  sensor cover.
    • 2. Locate sensitivity pins under the battery on the right side of the Motion Sensor when looking at the front of the device. Top 2 prongs covered
      • Standard Factory Sensitivity: Bottom 2 prongs covered
      • High Sensitivity: Top 2 prongs covered

  • 90 degree angle field of view
  • Alarm will be set off if customer has animals 40 lbs or more
  • Sensitivity can NOT be changed physically on device
