A "Device State Unknown" is a typical message to receive if you just bought your system. Usually this means the device was pre-programmed into the system before it was sent to you. When the system powers up, it has to receive a signal from all the sensors in order to "pick them up" again. This can be done simply by tripping a device. For example, by opening and closing a door or window sensor, or by pressing the tamper switch. If you do this to all of your sensors that show this message, then log out and log back into your Brinks Home App account, the Device State Unknown message should disappear.
