It's rare for the IQ panel to freeze up, but if it happens, you'll need to reboot the system. Follow the instructions below...
If your system is "Disarmed" and it freezes, hold down the "Home" button for 60 seconds. You'll know it's rebooting when the screen turns black. Give it 2-3 minutes to turn back on.
If your system is "Armed" and it freezes, hold down the "Home" and "Emergency " buttons for 60 seconds. You'll know it's rebooting when the screen turns black. Give it 2-3 minutes to turn back on.
Upgrade The System
To prevent the freezing from happening again, make sure to upgrade the system in the settings. To do this, follow the instructions below...
Select "Settings" and enter "1111"
Select "Installation" and then "Upgrade Software"
Select "Upgrade Using Network" and wait for the system to complete the download.
The system will tell you that it needs to be power cycled to complete the upgrade. Select "OK"
