Skybell - Not Recording

Symptoms: Your SkyBell is not recording, but you can watch live and you are still receiving notifications. 

A manual soft reset can be performed by doing the following:

  1. Begin holding down SkyBell doorbell button
  2. The SkyBelll flashes Green, Red-Green then Blue
  3. Once SkyBell flashes BLUE release button wait approximately a minute for Skybell to reboot

The SkyBell should begin recording within 10 minutes after rebooting

    Depending on the model of Skybell you use, there are three different firmware version distinctions. This process does not initiate a firmware update.
