Panel Is Not Responding
Hold Home button for 30 seconds to power down, then hold again for 5 seconds to reboot
Sensor Test
1. Press SETTINGS, then enter Master Code
2. Press SYSTEM TESTS, then press SENSOR TEST
3. Activate all sensors
- Door/Window Sensor - Open and Close the Door or Window
- Key Fob - Hold both LOCK and UNLOCK button for 2 to 3 seconds
- Motion Detector
- G.E Motion - press bottom tab, then pull motion from the back mounting plate
- IQ Motion - press top button, then pull motion from the back mounting plate
IQ Motion GE Motion
4. Sensor test displays result as Excellent, Pass or Poor, then press BACK ARROW to exit
Replacing Backup Battery
1. Power down system by pressing SETTINGS, then enter Master Code
2. Press POWER DOWN, then OK to confirm - the IQ Panel now powers down
3. Loosen screw on bottom, then pull front of panel from backplate
4. Hang panel on backplate using plastic strap
5. Remove battery holder screw, then unplug to remove old battery
6. Remove and replace battery
7. Hold HOME button for 5 seconds to power up IQ Panel
System Test
1. Place account on test (instructions here), press PRESS TO ARM, then ARM AWAY
2. Wait until exit delay expires, then open door or window to trip the alarm
3. Press DISARM, then enter User Code to silence the alarm
4. Call Brinks Home at 800-447-9239 to verify signals were received, then take account off test
View Firmware Version
1. Press SETTINGS, then enter Master Code
2. Press ABOUT, scroll to SOFTWARE, then press HOME button to exit
Replace Glassbreak Detector Batteries

Replace Door/Window Sensor Batteries

Perform Wi-Fi Test
1. Press SETTINGS, then enter Master code
2. Press SYSTEM TEST, then WI-FI TEST
3. Press RUN to start test, if successful press BACK or HOME button to exit
Silence Reset Trouble Beeps
1. Press STATUS, then press the ALERTS tab
2. Press ACKNOWLEDGE to check all troubles, then press YES at the confirmation pop up message
3. Press BACK ARROW to exit
Power Cycle
1. Press SETTINGS, then enter Master Code
2. Select POWER DOWN, then press OK to confirm
3. Wait 2 minutes, then power up panel by holding the HOME button for 5 seconds
Performing A Cellular Communicator Test
1. Press SETTINGS, then enter Master Code
2. Press SYSTEM TESTS, then CELLULAR TEST
3. Press the START button under Cellular Test to begin, if successful press BACK to exit
Clearing Low Battery Alerts
1. Press STATUS, then ALERTS
2. Press ACKNOWLEDGE, then YES to confirm
3. Press SETTINGS, then enter Installer Code 1111
4. Press ABOUT, then check Battery Voltage section. The voltage needs to be 8.4 Volts.
Testing The Image Motion Sensor
1. Press SETTINGS, then enter Installer Code 1111
2. Press SYSTEM TESTS, then IMAGE SENSOR CONFIG
3. Select Image Sensor by pressing VIEW button, then press SENSOR TESTS
4. Press START PIR TEST, then press CLOSE on the pop up message to begin 3-minute motion test
5. Walk in front of the image sensor, the motion light flashes when movement is detected
6. When finished, press BACK or HOME button to exit
