Factory Default 

Warning! Erases everything, camera must be re-added to Alarm.com and Wi-Fi configured

 

1. Press MENU button, camera says "Menu, use volume buttons to scroll through options"

2. Press + button until the camera says "Factory Reset press the menu button to activate"

3. Press top MENU button, camera says "Press menu button again to confirm factory reset"

4. Press top MENU button again, camera says "Resetting"

 

Wi-Fi setup using WPS Enrollment

1. Press MENU button, camera says "Menu, use volume buttons to scroll through options"

2. Press + button until camera says "WPS press the menu button to activate", then press MENU button

3. Camera says "WPS activated press any button to exit", front LED flashes blue

4. Press and release router's WPS button or enable WPS mode in router programming

5. If successful, after 1 minute the camera LED turns green

Wi-Fi Setup by AP Access Point

1. Press top MENU button, camera says "Menu, use volume buttons to scroll through options"

2. Press + button until camera says "Access Point, press menu button to activate", then press MENU button

3. Front status light flashes blue

4. Go to smartphone Wi-Fi settings, look for ALARM xx:xx:xx, then press CONNECT

5. Open web browser, enter 192.168.1.1, camera menu appears, then press SCAN

6. Swipe down, select Wi-Fi network, then swipe up

7. Enter Wi-Fi encryption, press SUBMIT, then OK. Camera beeps, green LED turns ON.

Hardwire Connection to Router

Add Camera using Brinks Home App Website

1. Login to the Brinks Home App website (powered by Alarm.com) and select VIDEO

2. Select SETTINGS

3. Scroll to bottom of page and select ADD VIDEO DEVICE

4. Camera should be detected, enter camera name, then select INSTALL

5. The camera is added to the network, which can take several minutes

6. When finished select LIVE VIEW to view images from newly installed camera

Add Camera using Brinks Home Mobile App

Note: Camera must already be connected to router by Ethernet cable or by Wi-Fi

 

1. From the menu icon in the top left, press VIDEO, then the GEAR icon

2. Press ADD VIDEO DEVICE, then INSTALL, enter the camera name, then press NEXT

3. Camera may take several minutes to configure. Press X when finished.

Troubleshooting

  • Power cycle the camera by unplugging and plugging in power adapter
  • Move closer to Wi-Fi router
  • If issues persist, try resetting the camera to factory defaults

 

LED Reference Guide

  • Solid Green = Local network and Internet connection OK
  • Flashing Green = Local network connection OK, Internet connection bad
  • Solid Red = No local network or Internet connection
  • Flashing Red = Camera booting
  • Flashing Blue = Camera in WPS Wi-Fi learn mode
  • Flashing White = Camera in Wi-Fi AP learn mode
  • Flashing Yellow = Camera in Bluetooth Pairing mode
