Factory Default

Warning! Erases everything, camera must be re-added to Alarm.com and Wi-Fi configured

Remove bottom rubber cover and hold WPS button for 15 seconds

Wi-Fi Setup by WPS Enrollment

This brief instructional video demonstrates how to successfully pair the Brinks Home Indoor Camera (ADC-V523) to a router using WPS mode:

 

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Hold the WPS button for 3 seconds until the front LED flashes blue

2. Press and release the router's WPS button or enable WPS in router programming

3. Wait 2 minutes for the camera LED to flash, then turn solid green if successful

Note: If WPS Mode fails, try Access Point Mode

 

Wi-Fi Setup by Access Point

This brief instructional video demonstrates how to successfully pair the Brinks Home Indoor Camera (ADC-V523) to a router using Access Point (AP) mode:

 

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Hold the WPS button for 6 seconds until the front LED flashes white

2. Go to smartphone Wi-Fi settings and look for ADC-V523 (XX:XX:XX), then press CONNECT

3. In a web browser, go to http://v723install/ then press SCAN for Wi-Fi networks

4. Select Wi-Fi network, scroll up and enter your Wi-Fi credentials, press SUBMIT, then OK to exit

5. Camera LED turns green if successful or red if failure

Hardwire Connection to Router

Plug Ethernet cable into back of camera and into unused port on Wi-Fi network router

Add Camera using Brinks Home App Website

 Note: Camera must be connected by Wi-Fi to router

1. Login to the Brinks Home App website (powered by Alarm.com), select VIDEO, then ADD CAMERA

2. Camera should be detected, enter camera name, then select INSTALL

3. The camera is added to the network, which can take several minutes

4. When finished select LIVE VIEW to view images from the newly installed camera

Add Camera using the Brinks Home Mobile App

Note: Camera must be connected to router by Wi-Fi

This brief instructional video demonstrates how to successfully add the Brinks Home Indoor Camera (ADC-V523) to your Brinks Home App account:

 

1. From the menu icon mceclip1.png in the top left, press + Add Device, then press Video Camera

2. Select the camera or enter the MAC address, tap Install, Name your camera, then press Next

3. Camera may take several minutes to configure. Press Next when finished.

4. Tap the play icon to confirm the live view, view live video in full screen to test Two-Way Audio, test the speaker to mute and unmute, and test the microphone. Installation is complete!

Troubleshooting

  • Power cycle the camera by unplugging and plugging in power adapter
  • Move closer to Wi-Fi router
  • If issues persist, try resetting the camera to factory defaults

 

LED Reference Guide

  • Solid Green = Local network and Internet connection OK
  • Flashing Green = Local network connection OK, Internet connection bad
  • Solid Red = No local network or Internet connection
  • Flashing Red = Camera booting
  • Flashing Blue = Camera in WPS Wi-Fi learn mode
  • Flashing White = Camera in Wi-Fi AP learn mode
  • Flashing Yellow = Camera in Bluetooth Pairing mode
