    Hi Everyone,

Faris, you're absolutely correct - Alarm.com has integrated with Google Home.

    Instructions for getting started

Already got Google Home and Alarm.com and raring to go? Here's how to get started.

First, enable the Alarm.com action by telling your Google Home: "Okay Google, talk to Alarm.com."

Next, open the Google Home app. Enter your Alarm.com account login and password to sync your account. You'll have the option to create your PIN as part of the setup process.

Don't have Alarm.com yet? Get connected with an Alarm.com service provider by entering your ZIP code into the box below, or find out more about getting Alarm.com by clicking here.

  • I was told the Google Home integration worked and was a major provision before I changed from Vivint to Liberty. Also was told I'd get the installer code so I could add my own devices. So far 0/2. I'm going to give it a few days to see what Liberty comes back with...after that I will need to give this system a 0! I would have never signed up for 3 years in an antiquated system. Stay tuned.

  • I can confirm that Google Home works with alarm.com for arming stay, away, and asking for status. You can also speak your code to disarm. While the default case is that you have to start out all commands with "Ask alarm dot com to arm stay" (for instance), you can make use of Google Home's shortcut functionality for a more natural command. I would not recommend doing that with the disarm command for obvious reasons.

  • Do you need a Google Home to get the integration, like with a Nest thermostat?  I can't find a way to connect any wifi devices other than Liftmaster and Lutron to my IQ panel through Alarm.com.
