What do I set Option 12 to on Simon 3 system to call central alarm station

Just activated alarm monitoring service with Brinks Home Security. I have a Simon 3 system. I need to know what setting to use for Option 12-Phone 1 Reports. It is now set to "10" , Voice Event Notification format. It is set to "10" because I previously had the alarms go to my cell phone.

  • On most Simon 3 panels you would set option 12 to (1) for Contact ID in order to report alarms to a Central Station. On some of the really old revisions of the Simon 3 you have to enter it in as 01 but those panels are just about obsolete.
