Why do sensors of the same type have a different status in Brinks Home Security?

I have two door sensors that are set up exactly the same in the control panel.  They are both Group 13 Door/Window sensors.  In Brinks Home Security one of the sensors indicates "OK (Closed)" while the other indicates "Ok".  When I hover over the status the first one with the satus "OK (Closed)" says "Sensor Living Room Door is Closed" and the second one with the status "Ok" says "Sensor Downstairs Door is not monitored for open/close activity".  I assume they should show the same status.  I have included an attached file that shows what I am seeing.

  • I think I found the answer in another post.  Brinks Home Security will only show the current status of up to 10 sensors.  This is exactly the number that I am receiving a real time status on.  I really want to see some other sensors.  Does that mean I have to pick my top 10 and then move them to a lower sensor number on the list of sensors so that they will show real time status?

  • You are correct, for a standard account the real time sensor activity is limited to 10 sensors. You can upgrade for a price but generally it is not necessary to have activity monitoring for all your sensors while the system is disarmed. You can however pick and choose which ones you want activity monitoring on. Simply text us at 888-393-1190 and we can switch which particular sensors show real time status.
