Back in Oct. I was getting low battery e-mail day after day, so I took out the battery tested it and  it showed good. Put the battery back in and now Dec comes the same thing low battery can someone explain

  • I don't know the answer, but I have replaced the battery (which checks out good) with a new one and still get the "low system battery alarm.  Systems shows 6.75 volts. Alarm should go if it drops to 1 volt or less.  Try tech support I guess.

  • Thanks Neal, We put a new battery in and still had low battery alarm for a few days, then it stopped. We just  had a power outage from the snow lasted 36 hours. With new battery, again low battery alarm, took a few days, it went away. Maybe the charger is to slow to bring battery back up after a drain down.

  • Hi Joseph,

    I would recommend checking status to see which peice of equipment needs a new battery. Zone 1 is usally a front door sensor, but it's always best to check status first.
