One option for you would be using a putty knife or even a butter knife...just something with a hard semi pointed edge. You might not want to use a utility knife and risk cutting your window. Once you have that are scraped clean then you can put the new sensor in the same spot.
You can use a small amount of Goof Off ( Sell it at Home Depot or most hardware stores) around the glue pad, this will make the glue soft and it will come off the window with no damage to window of any kind. Its best to take the cover off so the Goof Off won't get inside and damage the inside of the sensor.
